SATISIFED: Summer Retreat 2024


Our Summer Retreat will be a special time for the church to get away together for refreshment, renewal, and growth with the community.

Even for those who know God, it can be a struggle to find our joy. As the classic song goes, "Prone to wander, Lord i feel it. Prone to leave the Lord I love."In a world that gives many reasons to be discontent, join us to discover what it could mean to be satisfied in the Lord.

We are honored to welcome our guest speaker, Ronnie Martin

Ronnie Martin is Director of Leader Renewal for Harbor Network, and co-host of The Heart of Pastoring Podcast w/ Jared C. Wilson. He has written and co-written several books, including "The God Who Is With Us," and "The Unhurried Pastor."

Event Details

Lodging

  • Separate men’s and women’s bunk-style rooms with shared bathrooms.

  • Family motels

Meals

  • Meals will include dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.

  • Friday night dinner starts at 6pm promptly.

  • Skycroft meals are buffet-style, with options for vegetarians, vegans.

  • They always have food that doesn’t include wheat products, but they do not keep a separate prep area for gluten-free foods.

  • If you have a severe allergy or food need, let us know so arrangements can be made.



Schedule

You will get the most out of the event if you attend all sessions and make use of time between sessions for community building, private study, and rest. The gym and hiking trails will be open for your use during breaks.

Additional Information

  • Registration closes Sunday, June 2nd.

  • There is no special programming for children. Children 3 & under are free but need to be registered if they will need a seat in the dining hall.

  • Limited financial assistance may be available, so contact us to inquire about that.

  • Payment for registration is for admittance to the event and is not a charitable contribution to The Village.
